Obviously I don't like every movie. If that were true, we wouldn't be here. But I do see a lot of movies and I like a lot of what I see, and sometimes I have thoughts about that, and this is where those thoughts are going to live.
This is not the kind of movie review blog where you'll see a lot of posts about movies as they come out. I do go to the theater occasionally but for now I'm just going to be writing about movies as I happen to see them, or even as I happen to have random thoughts about them.
Like everyone else, I do have my own tastes and opinions, so expect no authority or objectivity here, and do expect a biased sample. I also tend to focus on aspects I enjoy, the film's strengths rather than its weaknesses. The blog title comes from these two facts: I tend to see the movies that I suspect I'll enjoy, and, like a fan rather than a critic, I'll focus more on things that I liked than the aspects that might be sub-par.
